The Brisbane Improv Festival is excited to be hosting 22 Improvisation Workshops as part of the 2022 Festival with facilitators from all over Australia and New Zealand.

Discovering Our Place
Facilitated by Matt Wilson with music by Andrew Morrisby (PROTEA Impro, Tasmania)

Join Matt and Andrew from PROTEA Impro (Hobart, Tasmania) as they take you through creating an entire town on stage from scratch. From the smells of the local bakery to the sound of music wafting from the record playing in the upstairs apartment across the road. You will create unique and intriguing characters to inhabit the town and interact with the rich cultural fabric of the places we build. Join us as we uncover Our Place.

Please note that any Festival shows cast from workshops is at the discretion of the show's director and is not guaranteed. Please go into workshops with a view to learning new improv skills and having fun. Any performance opportunity is a bonus.
