Granite Borders Landcare is hosting an information session on site at their office for those applicants who have already submitted, or who are considering submitting an EOI for a 'free' wildlife drinker.

On Wednesday, 12 October we take delivery of the first of our 'drinkers' and their designer and creator will be onsite to show how these are installed, monitored and maintained.  This is an ideal opportunity to ask any questions and to see these drinkers first hand.

Tenterfield Shire has in past years and will in the future, be affected by drought and fire and we are calling on all those rural landholders, interested in the welfare of local wildlife to attend and register their interest for one of these drinkers.  They are proving to be a viable and excellent source of hydration and just one way of drought proofing our landscape for local wildlife when faced with future emergencies.

This project is proudly funded by the Australian Government’s National Landcare Program and supported by the Northern Tablelands Local Land Services.
