TESSIE OVERMYER QUARTET

TESSIE OVERMYER is a saxophonist & composer currently based in New York City.  Originally from Newcastle, Australia, she is studying a master of music at the Manhattan School of Music.

Recent recognition of her work includes being awarded second place in the 2024 Australian National Jazz Awards & receiving a commission from the Australian Broadcasting Corporation to compose eight new works for her quartet.

This gig will feature new compositions that Tessie has been writing during her time in New York City.
