Our 'Zumba for a Cure' workout fuses Latin American music and dance rhythms to create a party-like atmosphere in a group session whilst raising awareness and vital funds for the Mark Hughes Foundation's 2026 Ladies Everest Base Camp Trek. This fun, moderate paced, aerobic dance class, will not only tone and strengthen the body, it'll also burn fat, help build core strength and improve stamina and mental health.

The Mark Hughes Foundation (MHF) – is a Non-Profit, Health Promotion Charity that began in 2014, after Mark (a former Newcastle Knights NRL player) was diagnosed with brain cancer. They began the Foundation when they realised how underfunded brain cancer was in Australia in comparison to other cancers. The lack of funding meant very little research into treatments or cures for brain cancer and, as a result, not much has changed in the shocking brain cancer mortality rates over the past 30 years. Brain cancer is the leading cause of cancer death in children and adults aged under 40 in Australia. Alarmingly, very little is known about brain cancer, its causes or how it is treated. My goal is to help change that! By purchasing a ticket to this special event, all proceeds will go towards vital research to improve patient treatments and, hopefully, find a cure one day. 'Together we can make a difference'.
