After the success of two bespoke East Coast tours in recent years, Hunter-based singer-songwriters Anna Weatherup and Amy Vee will once again delight audiences with a new run of co-headline shows throughout 2026. Centred around the release of Weatherup’s recent album Delusional, the two are continuing their collaboration to include a number of full-band shows, promising enhanced opportunities for fans to experience their unique musical synergy.
Anna Weatherup and Amy Vee first joined forces in 2023, united by their shared roots as independent singer-songwriters from the Hunter region. Both have built impressive careers over two decades, consistently releasing new work and overcoming the challenges of and ever-changing music scene by fostering a community of devoted listeners. Together, their co-headline shows have won over audiences from Melbourne to Townsville and everywhere in between, with many attendees singing their praises:
“The quality and consummate ease of their performance and the sound they produce together was an absolute standout” (Melbourne)
“I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed your show - seeing the joy you both got from performing in such an intimate venue was priceless” (Brisbane)
“Hauntingly beautiful” (Canberra)
“These ladies are a class act and their voices complement each other so darn well” (Sydney)
“Such talent grace and style! If you didn’t get to this show… YOU REALLY MISSED OUT!” (Hervey Bay)
Anna Weatherup has always been an artist unafraid to chart her own course. Emerging on the national stage through The Voice Australia, Anna quickly became known for her evocative voice - one that could stop traffic, yet capture the most delicate emotions. Her album, Crossing the Sea, was celebrated as a heartfelt collection of cinematic folk-rock, crafted meticulously over several years and gaining fans internationally. The new album Delusional extends that journey into new and adventurous musical territory, punctuated by her live band (who also feature on the album).
Amy Vee is an award-winning Australian singer-songwriter known for her resonant storytelling and enchanting live performances. Blending folk, indie rock, and ambient textures, her music explores themes of identity, connection, and the quiet complexities of human experience. With three albums, several EPs, and numerous collaborations to her name, Vee has carved a distinct place in the independent music landscape, earning praise for her powerful vocals and lyrical depth. A seasoned performer, she has opened stages for artists such as Newtown Faulkner (UK), Passenger (UK), Sandi Thom (Scotland), Katie Noonan, and Ash Grunwald, while sharing stages as a band member for artists such as The Whitlams, Melody Pool and Piper Butcher.
The pair’s previous tours have focused on intimate, listening venues, allowing for deep connections with audiences and the creation of memorable, shared experiences. As Anna Weatherup describes:
“We’re both keen on the idea of giving people an experience. People consume music in a distracted way these days... We want to encourage audiences to allow themselves to be immersed in the moment. It’s about creating a bit of shared magic.”
This tour will be extra special in that it will feature several full band performances, as well as few special guest opening acts, and will revisit some favourite venues as well as a few new destinations.
Whether you’ve experienced their tour shows before, or are coming along for the first time, there will be a little something for everyone.
