Dust on the Shortbread

Company Bio

Founded in 2008 in Perth by Serena Chalker and Quindell Orton AIVDT is an award-winning dance company specialising in site alternative performance.

AIVDT has presented work both independently and at festivals throughout Europe and Australia.

Dust on the Shortbread  is AIVDT's second presentation at the MoveMe Festival and this unique performance will take you into the heart of the home to peer behind the facade to explore how dementia impacts us, our lives and our loved ones.

Imagine your life unsaved, unhappened. How do we continue when the memories that have shaped our lives start to crumble?

A tender and poignant performance in a suburban house, Dust on the Shortbread offers a unique window into how dementia impacts our sense of identity and intimate relationships, brought to life by Elizabeth Cameron Dalman OAM and George Shevtsov.
