Always You Yoga and Relaxation

Supporting individuals to realize their full potential and achieve their chosen life goals is one of my many passions. My motto's are simple, ‘always follow your heart’ and ‘always be the version of YOURSELF that YOU want to be’.

A Registered Dru Yoga Teacher and member of the Dru Professional Network DPN(Y), I teach weekly classes at the SA Aquatic & Leisure Centre, Oaklands Park, hold a once a month Sunday class at Moana Pioneers Memorial Hall and host a variety of POP UP OUTDOOR YOGA classes.

What is Dru Yoga?

Dru Yoga is a graceful and potent form of yoga, based on soft flowing movements, directed breathing and visualization. With its foundations set firmly in ancient yogic tradition, Dru works on body, mind and spirit—improving strength and flexibility, creating core stability, building a heightened feeling of positivity, deeply relaxing and rejuvenating your whole being.

Designed to be practised by people of all abilities, all fitness levels and all age groups, Dru is a style of yoga that can be quickly dipped into or learnt in more depth over a lifetime.

Dru comes from the Sanskrit word dhruva, which refers to the stillness that can be experienced in both Dru Yoga and Dru Meditation. In the stillness we are able to sit back from everything happening around us, and see and act from a point of clarity and inner calm.

A regular practice of Dru Yoga may assist to:

•Reduce stress and tension

•Ease back pain, headaches and other physical discomfort

•Improve energy levels and vitality

•Develop better relationships with yourself and others
