What is LAMP?

Language Acquisition through Motor Planning (LAMP) is a therapeutic approach based on neurological and motor learning principles. The goal is to provide individuals a method of independently and spontaneously expressing themselves in any setting. The LAMP approach can be used with both Unity® & Words for Life.

Who can attend? 

This event it targeted at professionals working with people who use AAC. However, it is appropriate for anyone who is keenly interested in learning more about LAMP, or who is already using the LAMP approach. Attendees may be parents, carers, therapists, educators, education support or university students who have attended an online training during 2020 or 2021 prior to attending this face to face training.

Two online LAMP training events will take place throughout November on the 11th, 18th and 25th.

This event covers assessment, implementation of the LAMP approach and practical tools to assist implementation. Participants must have previously attended an online training during 2020 or 2021 prior to attending this face to face training. A full 2 day training is scheduled for February 2022.
