Who's it for? 

This workshop is for anyone who is wanting to cultivate a deep sense of worthiness

Description of the program

When do we realise in our bones that ‘we are enough’. Exploring the gifts of courage, compassion and connection The Gifts of Imperfection is an experiential online workshop that cultivates a deep sense of worthiness. Drawing on the research of New York Times best-selling author Dr Brené Brown, we will exploring the Ten Guideposts to Wholehearted Living.

Starting the first Monday in February 2020 (and continuing every month until the 2nd of December 2020 (11 session in total- tickets sold in bundles or monthly) we will be exploring the following guideposts, helping to cultivate:

1. Authenticity - Letting go of what people think

2. Self-compassion - Letting go of perfectionism

3. A resilient spirit - Letting go of numbing & powerlessness

4. Gratitude & joy - Letting go of scarcity & fear of the dark

5. Intuition & trusting faith - Letting go of need for certainty

6. Creativity - Letting go of comparison

7. Play & rest - Letting go of exhaustion as a status symbol & productivity as self-worth

8. Calm & stillness - Letting go of anxiety as a lifestyle

9. Meaningful work - Letting go of self-doubt & ‘supposed to’

10. Laughter, song & dance - Letting go of being cool & always in control

About the presenter

Liz Lane is a Psychologists and a Certified Daring Way™ -Candidate who has been providing professional and personal growth workshops to the military, emergency services and general community for over 25 years. Liz has an ability to ground psychological theory into real life, by offering practical explanations and tools that really make a difference, within a positive adult learning environment. Her workshops have been described to us as like ‘having a big conversation’– reflecting our relaxed, inclusive style of presentation, that has the right balance of light heartedness and solid work. 

What else should you know?

Commencing on Monday the 3rd of February 2020, the 90 minute Zoom online session will be held from 7pm – 8:30pm. Meetings will be then held on the consecutive first Mondays of every month finishing on December the 7th, 2020. Zoom meeting links with any relevant information will be emailed to each participant prior the meeting time and tickets are sold either in bundles or monthly.

Participants will be encouraged to read the corresponding chapters of Brené Browns best-selling book entitled, The Gifts of Imperfection prior to the session but this is not a course requirement.  

If you have chosen to purchases either individual sessions or 5 session pack, please note that places are held only by payment and that others will have the opportunity to purchase these spaces on the program if they are left open.
