Join us and explore the fascinating world of boomerangs! Learn about this incredible Indigenous hunting tool and discover its rich cultural significance. Decorate your own boomerang and master the art of throwing it with guidance from the Arboretum’s Indigenous Tourism Officer.

Mara Boomerang means 'Pathway of the Boomerang' in Ngunnawal language.

Time: 11am
Duration: 60 Minutes 
Ages: 5 years and older*
Price: $25 per ticket.

Important Information

*For children six years old and under, parents/carers are required to stay with their children for this workshop. For parents/carers of children seven years and older, you are welcome to drop them off and enjoy a coffee in the cafe.

We may take a short walk so please ensure children have covered shoes and are dressed for the weather. Please bring a water bottle for your child.

This event is pram friendly.

If any children or adults are unwell, we ask that you stay at home. Hand sanitiser will be available to use, bathroom and hand washing facilities are available.
