You know what drives me mad? People who write like robots.
If you are writing for work and want to stop sounding like everyone else, this training might help. Maybe it won't. Depends how much you want to change, really.
Look, our Copywriting Training isn't about making you sound fancy. It's about making you sound like... well, you. Just the version of you that people actually want to read. The one that doesn't put them to sleep.
This isn't some course about buzzwords or trying to be clever. Honestly, half the "clever" writing out there makes me want to throw my laptop out the window. Or at least close the tab really aggressively.
Works for anyone who writes emails, ads, website stuff, social posts, those terrible brochures no one reads. Basically if you write things and want people to not ignore them. Which should be everyone but apparently isn't.
We'll show you tools that work. Not theory. Tools. Like actual things you can use on Monday morning.
What Copywriting Really Is Forget what you think you know. Most people are already doing copywriting without knowing it. Like when you text your friend about a restaurant recommendation, that's copywriting. You're trying to get them to do something (go there). See? It's not rocket science.
Making Your Writing Less Boring Those massive blocks of text that make people's eyes glaze over? We'll fix that. You'll learn to write in a way that feels normal to read. Because reading shouldn't feel like homework.
Getting Someone's Attention Headlines are hard. Subject lines are harder. First sentences? Don't get me started.
But we'll look at what actually makes people stop scrolling and pay attention. Spoiler: it's not what most people think. And it's definitely not "10 Amazing Tips That Will Change Your Life Forever" because that's just annoying.
Frameworks That Don't Suck You need go to formulas when you're stuck staring at a blank page at 4pm on a Friday. The cursor just blinking at you. Mocking you.
We'll give you some that actually work in real life. Not just in theory.
Calls to Action That Work Need someone to click something? Sign up for something? Actually do the thing you want them to do?
Most calls to action are terrible. "Click here to learn more" seriously? Learn more about what? We can do better. Much better.
Editing Your Own Stuff Most people can't edit their own work because they're too close to it. Like trying to proofread your own CV. You just can't see the mistakes anymore.
We'll teach you tricks to step back and see what's actually on the page. Not what you think is on the page.
Finding Your Voice This is the bit everyone gets wrong. Your "brand voice" doesn't have to sound like a corporate press release. You can sound professional without sounding dead inside. Promise.
Writing With Purpose Every piece of writing should do something. Inform, persuade, explain, whatever. If it's not doing anything useful, why are you writing it? Serious question.
You don't need to be a "writer" to need this. That's nonsense anyway.
Small business owners who are tired of their writing falling flat Marketing people who want to sound less like... well, marketing people
Sales teams who need to actually connect with humans instead of sounding like they swallowed a sales manual Anyone who writes emails that people need to read and act on (so basically everyone?) People who cringe every time they hit "publish" and immediately want to delete everything
Oh, and people who have been told their writing is "too casual" but don't want to sound like a robot. Because apparently being human is unprofessional now.
We're flexible because not everyone learns the same way :
On site sessions if you're in Australia and want us to come to you (we'll even bring decent coffee) Live online sessions via Zoom (yes, we know, more Zoom calls. Sorry about that) One on one coaching for people who prefer that Custom content for your industry because generic training is mostly useless and everyone knows it
Clear writing isn't just nice to have anymore. It's everything. Well, maybe not everything. But it's really important.
Your words represent you whether you like it or not. Every email, every post, every piece of content you put out there is forming people's opinions about you. No pressure though.
Good writing builds trust. Bad writing... well, you've probably stopped reading those emails from that one person who always writes novels with no paragraphs, haven't you? We all have that person.
You don't need to become Hemingway. You just need to stop making it hard for people to understand what you want from them. Which sounds simple but apparently isn't.
Send us a message. We'll talk through what you need, answer your questions, and work out if this makes sense for you and your team.
No hard sell, no "limited time offers", just a conversation about whether we can help. Because honestly, if we can't help you, we'll tell you. Life's too short for training that doesn't work.
