This Meeting will be conducted under the current Formula 500's Australia Inc. Supplementary Racing Regulations, Australian Speedway Racing Rules and Regulations and these Supplementary Regulations.

Conditions of entry

All competitors must complete the entry form available on Sticky Tickets website along with payment of all fees before being accepted. The Queensland Formula 500 Association reserves the right to accept or reject any entry.

This event is open to all Formula 500 Australia/State registered cars and drivers including international entries with current Speedway Australia AA licence and relevant State formula 500 club affiliation.

All drivers are to be in the pits, signed in and scrutineered by 3.30pm. Failure to do so will result in ROF in all heat races. Drivers briefing will be held at 5.00pm unless otherwise notified by the Toowoomba Speedway, failure to attend will result in a ROF for all heat races.

Scrutineering will take place in a designated area and every car shall have its matching logbook provided to the club Scrutineer. Scrutineers can inspect any safety equipment, including apparel, at any time when competing. Compliance weight, tyre and fuel testing may take place and refusal of such inspections will result in disqualification from that event and lose of all points/prize money.

Minimum Car Weight including driver – 360kg

All competitors, crew and officials must conduct themselves in a respectful, professional, and safe manner always whilst attending this event. Non-compliance will be addressed by either the Promoter or Chief Steward. Penalties may be applied.

All drivers must take part in all promotional/media interviews and activities unless there is an extenuating circumstance.

Nominations

Nominate via Sticktickets Only

Entry fee is $80.00 and payment must be made online when nominating.

Nominations will open on Thursday the 1st of October 2026 at 8.00am and close Sunday the 1^st November 2026 at 5.00pm.

Late nominations may be accepted at the promoter’s discretion & must be received prior to 3.30pm on Saturday 7^th November 2026

Approved late nominations will incur a late administration fee of $50.00 per nomination and ROF in all heats

Refund policy: A refund will only be given if the event does not take place.

This event is not capped.

Event Rules

All Events are governed by Speedway Australia racing rules and regulations, as well as National Formula 500 Australia racing rules and specifications, along with these specific supplementary regulations.

A driver disqualified from any event will not receive points or prize money.

If a driver does not finish in the Feature Event or if there is a mechanical black flag, the driver will receive prize money for the credited position in the order of timing by the officials. In the case of a DNF in HEATS without a mechanical black flag, the driver will be awarded last place finishing points from where that competitor drops out of.

If the race program is at risk of finishing later than 10:00pm, the Chief Steward has the right to implement and enforce time-certain racing or alter races and or laps.

Before, during, or after race meetings, Speedway Australia Rules & Regulations allow random drug and alcohol testing of drivers, car owners, officials, and pit crews.

It is the driver’s responsibility to have their muffler in a working condition that will help reduce or suppress noise.

The Toowoomba Speedway has a track rule that all cars using torsion bars have a restraint system fitted. These restraint systems are available from G&W Racing - www.gwracing.com.au

Electronic timing Transponders will be used & are available for hire from the Toowoomba Speedway. Drivers will be responsible for any loss of or damage to hired transponder. All hired transponder to be returned. Any car not having a working transponder may not be lap scored. Any car crossing the start/finish line under the pole line may not be lap scored.

All drivers must race with a working one-way communicator (and earpieces). Failure to do so may get the driver black flagged from that race at the chief steward’s discretion.

Race Format

There are no guaranteed hot laps, however at the venue’sdiscretion they may allow hot laps prior to the commencement of the event. This will be advised at the driver’s briefing.

The following format will be used based on the number of actual signed in competitors which will be determined at the event:

3 rounds of Heats, 1 x B-Main,1 x A-Main

There will be a maximum of 14 cars in the heat races with each car contesting in 3 heats.

The first round of heats will be decided by Pill Draw at the nightly sign in.

The second round of heats will be inverted from first round heats, with row swaps.

The third round of heats will be an inverted heat based on highest points.

Grid Draws will be found at the Club trailer.

Prior to going onto the track, it is the Driver's responsibility to check their starting position.

Each heat will consist of 10 laps or 10-minutes time limited, commencing at the first start attempt from the timing system and at the discretion of the Chief Steward.

Heat points will decide feature race starting positions. Ties will be separated by the fastest lap from heat racing from the timing system.

The top 20 cars on points after the heat races will qualify in their points order (car count dependant).

The highest point driver after the 3 rounds of Heats has the ability to choose inside or outside row for the A-Main Start. The 2^nd highest point scorer starts in opposite position on front row. Rest of the field line up as per their accumulated heat points.

B-Main (only required if more than 24 entries) will be contested over 12 laps with the top 4 transferring to the A main. Laps & no. of cars in B Main may be adjusted on the night after discussion with Track Promoter & Bris F500 Club

There will be no reserves for this event.

The A-Main will be 25 laps/25 minutes time limited and at the discretion of the Chief Steward.

Format Summary

3 x Heats per car – Heat 1 Pill draw, Heat 2 invert and row swap, Heat 3 line up based on points (8 car field – top 4 invert, 10 car field - top 6 invert, 12 car field – top 8 invert, 14 car field – top 10 invert) 10 laps/10-minute time limit.

B main (24 cars max - if required) – 12 laps/12-minute time limit, top 4 transfer to the A-main.

A Main (24 cars max) – Top 20 qualify directly, 25 laps/25-minute time limit.

Top 3 Finishers in A Main will be required to weigh cars before trophy presentation. Scales location to be advised at drivers briefing

Point structure.

Points will be awarded for the qualifying heat races, as per the below table in red.

Top 20 cars will qualify directly into the A-Main, with the remaining cars transferring from the b-main race, as per the below table in blue.

Drop out points will be awarded according to the official timing results, for the heat races.

Prize Money Prize money payouts will be according to the official results.

The promoter reserves the right to alter pay outs and/or awards.

Drivers will be informed of any alteration at the Drivers Briefing.

All eligible prize money will be paid directly to your nominated bank account within 14 days of the conclusion of this event.

There will be $150 paid to every competing car as tow money for the event (Car & Driver will have to start the first round of heats as a minimum to be paid tow money)

It is the responsibility of the driver to ensure the right bank details have been provided.

Incomplete Events

If this event is not being held or fully completed the following criteria will be applied.

Cancellation of meeting prior to track opening venue or sign-in deadline being reached - No points or payments awarded. Nomination fee will be refunded.

Cancellation of meeting if first round heats has been completed, no heat points will be awarded, and the prize money is divided across all entered cars evenly.

Cancellation of meeting if all second-round heats have been completed -Heat points awarded – Prize money will be paid out on points totals.

Promotional and Media Engagement

As part of your nomination, all drivers will have to engage in various media and promotional activities outlined by the promoter if asked.

Penalties will apply for those drivers who do not engage in required activities, without fair reason.

Official Decals - All cars must display the supplied official decals of our major sponsors if supplied to be eligible for any contingency awards or overall prize money that may be offered. Failure to do so will make your team ineligible for contingency prizes and/or prize money from this event and will be applied at the discretion of the promoter.

All supplied decals must be displayed on the left and right side of the wing or as otherwise directed. It is the team’s responsibility to ensure they have all the correct decals;

The Brisbane formula 500 club will endeavour to supply new decals after accidents.

Podium Presentation directly after A main completion - Top 3 Drivers to attend in race suits.

NOTE: All Supplementary Regulations listed above apply any time before, during and after a race meeting and are not subject to appeal. The Brisbane Formula 500 Association reserves the right to update, change or amend any of the Supplementary Regulations at any time and no correspondence will be entered into.

All race results will be uploaded on www.mylaps.com as soon as possible after each meeting.
