  In 2006 some locals were lucky enough to spend time with street children, destitute and dying hospital patients, homeless men and women, lepers and mentally handicapped men in Kolkata, India. Not your usual holiday but they came home more satisfied than a week in a Darrell Lea Factory.

The outstanding feature of the people we met working in these places was that they were all ordinary people......doing extraordinary things. We came away with love for the people we had met and a desire to do something here to help their work in Kolkata.
