Tapatak Oz VIP Teacher's Conference 2027

The Tapatak Oz Tap Teacher's Conference is back!

And for the first time ever, the conference will be open to any tap teachers and studio principals with a passion for, or interest in teaching tap. 

Whether you currently use Tapatak Oz, another programme, or teach open/free tap classes ... this three days of tap is open to you for some inspiration, great CPD, and teaching tips for your tap classes.

There are not many opportunities for TAP TEACHERS to get out there, in a tap-centric environment, and learn skills that are specific to the art of teaching tap. And as a passionate advocate for teaching tap in particular, having specialized in this art from for over 40 years, I am thrilled to bring this offering to the  Australian dance community.

So grab your tap shoes, and come along and spend three days learning how to bring a fun and inspiring approach to your tap classes, regardless of what system you are using.

The conference will use the Tapatak Oz Syllabus as a base for covering classes and progressions from Tiny Tots through to Seniors. And you will be able to see the teaching techniques and progressions that have helped students thrive in TAP for decades. 

Meeting and spending time with other tap dance teachers is also a wonderful way to build community, foster a genuine love of tap and learn from each other.

Tapatak Oz Teachers will be up tapping, as they know the programme.

Non-members are welcomed to watch, take notes...and join in if they wish.

The seminar will run from 9:00am - 4:00pm daily with one hour for lunch from 12:00 - 1:00pm

1. Early Bird Single Three Day Pass = $660.00

2. Oops I'm Late Single Three Day Pass = $880.00 

[after Friday October 30th 2026]

3. Early Bird Three Day Studio Pass for Two = $1,100.00 [

until Friday October 30th 2026]

4. Non-member Single Three Day Pass = $880.00

PS: There will be no expectation to invest in the Tapatak Oz resources at all during the workshop. It is simply an opportunity to come along and see what we do and how we do it, and learn some tap teaching tips along the way! 

And I would love to see as many passionate tap teachers there as possible! 

Accomodation Recommendations!

We recommend you stay at The Mantra @ South Bank - should you wish to experience the Brisbane River and the vibrant Brisbane City Life and South Bank Parklands  before and after the course each day. It would be 20 - 30 minutes by taxi / Uber from here each day or you can get a bus. Visit Promenade's Website for travel info and bus timetables etc. Should you wish to be closer to the course we recommend you find accommodation in Chermside or Kedron.
