In 2012, Brisbane Fringe Festival ran for the first time with a small budget and not a lot of time for organisation. It was a hit! However, for 2013 the organisers got together and decided to take the time to develop a bigger and better festival for Brisbane. One of the first decisions was to bring on directors for each genre of the festival to focus on bringing the best for that genre. Two successful Brisbane comedians; regular comedy room headliner and MC Steven J. Whiteley along with comedian and host of The Late Nite Show on 31 Digital Scott Black, were asked to handle the comedy programme.

Steve and Scott have dived into the organisation of the comedy programme to give Brisbane a big Fringe Festival experience that can be built on for years to come.

Brisbane Fringe Festival Comedy Programme

The full programme will be released online by start of September with a Printed Version available the beginning of August.

The programme will have all the venues, times, and comedians that will be performing in the Festival.

Our Vision for the BFFC…

We want to be the biggest comedy festival in Queensland representing the very best in comedy from local, national and international acts.

The BFFC wants to create a place where comedians come to put on world class shows and make some income from their craft.

Help us put Brisbane on the International Fringe Comedy stage!
