Create your very own Viking Knit bracelet in either sterling silver or copper!

The origins of Viking knit can be traced back to Viking-era Scandinavia, where the technique was used to make jewellery. It was a popular technique because it allowed for the creation of strong and flexible items that could withstand the harsh conditions of Viking life. The technique was also used by other cultures such as the Celts and Anglo-Saxons.

The technique has been adapted to modern techniques and materials, but it still retains the same basic principles of interweaving wire or other thin material in a continuous pattern. Nowadays, Viking knit is considered a form of craft, it's a skilful and artistic process that requires patience and attention to detail. The final product can be polished or left in its natural state.

Stephanie will provide all of the materials you will need on the day. However, if you have certain pliers you like to use please bring them along. 

When booking your spot you will need to select either sterling silver or copper. The cost of the workshop will depend on the material you choose. $125 for copper and $175 for stirling silver.

Registration Essential by 12noon Friday 11th September to allow Stephanie enough time to order the selected materials.
