Early Years Professional Development – Meeting Children’s Sensory Needs Through Art - IN PERSON EVENT

We are pleased to have Robyn from Art Friends in an interactive FACE to FACE session to be held at the Knox Civic Centre.

Children with disabilities/developmental delays can experience difficulties in processing sensory inputs, which can lead to increased stress, anxiety or difficulties encouraging in everyday activities.

During this workshop we will show you how to use art to help children process their environment in a calmer and more grounded way, increasing emotional regulation and greater sensory modulation while having fun.

This free professional development training is available for early years staff, preschool staff and family day care educators working in Knox only (including the suburbs of Bayswater, Boronia, Ferntree Gully, Knoxfield, Lysterfield, Rowville, Scoresby, The Basin, Upper Ferntree Gully, Wantirna and Wantirna South).

Places for this training are limited and bookings are essential.

The first 30 to register will be sent an email on Friday 20 March and you will be asked to confirm your attendance via return email – non confirmation will result in your position being offered to another Educator on the waiting list.

Those on the waiting list will be offered a position (if available) on Monday 23 March.
