The Parsnips:
Meet "The Parsnips," a five piece indie-rock band made up of young Darwin musicians. With Samara on drums, Olivia on bass, Clayton on lead, Keira on rhythm, and Amy on vocals, you're in for something special. Together, the band has created multiple original songs that display each members unique style and role in the group, forming a unique blend of classic rock and experimental indie sounds. The unusual name was inspired by their music teacher, Mr. Parsons, who taught them the most important lesson of all: the key to the door is a large tropical black tea with 30% sugar, 50% ice, and rainbow jelly…Nitrosol:
Hey we're Nitrosol, an emerging local band made up of students who share a passion for music and performing. Our members are Jessica Chapman on vocals, Freddie Mannion on lead guitar, Liam Matthews on rhythm guitar, Julian Ortega on bass guitar and Kalan Martin on drums. We play all sorts of genres and are still experimenting to find our own sound. Looking forward to seeing you at our next gig.
Stone in Focus:
Introducing Stone in Focus, your local teenage garage band bringing you alternative punk originals. Lineup includes singing, synth, saxophonist Samara, blast beats and backing vocals from Detta the drummer, Jake the shredder of lead guitar, Lionel switching up between vocals, bass, and rhythm guitar, and Milo the wizard of 404, bass, vocals, flute, and sax, truly a master of all trades. Their unique sound expresses their experiences as teens and explores a variety of political and societal issues impacting generation Z "From the top, let's just ******* send it.”
