It’s woman power on stage at Camelot - Eastern European style! All-gal band The Klezmer Diva is an exciting show from Fay Sussman that highlights the passion and emotion of Klezmer and Yiddish song, while drawing on styles including 30’s swing jazz, Gypsy, tango, and waltz.

Having performed extensively on the Australian festival circuit, in 2013 The Klezmer Divas were invited to perform in Poland in 5 Polish Towns. A feature documentary Pockets of Hope was filmed during this tour, playing at film festivals internationally. A corresponding doco " Fay's Journey' was recorded for ABC’s Compass, screening for 3 consecutive years, & winning Best Short Film at the London Independent Film Festival.

The sound of Fay Sussman’s soulful & emotive singing is reminiscent of the Berlin cabaret of Marlene Dietrich, while in the Polish press (with a rave review of her performance at the Polish embassy), they described her as the “Yiddish Piaf”. Don’t miss this very special Camelot event, as these 5 women join forces to create something magical. The show will feature Fay Sussman (vocals), Emily-Rose Sarkova (vocals, accordion, piano), Susie Bishop (vocals, violin), Loretta Palmeiro (clarinet), & Jessica Dunn (double bass).
