AMA (NSW) Webinar: Medical Students and DITs, juggling parenting and medicine

Are you a final year medical student or DIT preparing to balance the demands of medicine with the responsibilities of parenting?

Join us on Wednesday, October 29 from 7pm – 7:45pm for a Zoom webinar where AMA (NSW) councillors Dr James Lawler, Dr Alan Pham, Dr Ai-Vee Chua and Dr Amandeep Hansra will share their experiences and practical advice on managing life as an intern and parent.

Topics will include:

• ·Practical strategies and tips for managing clinical duties alongside parenting responsibilities
• ·Understanding your parenting entitlements
• ·Addressing stress and the emotional challenges of juggling roles, with advice on self-care and seeking mental health support
• ·How AMA (NSW) can support you with workplace concerns
