AMA (NSW) Webinar: Medical Students, juggling parenting and internship

Are you a final year medical student preparing to balance the demands of internship with the responsibilities of parenting?

Join us on Wednesday, October 29 from 7pm – 7:45pm for a Zoom webinar where AMA (NSW) councillors Dr James Lawler and Dr Alan Pham will share their experiences and practical advice on managing life as an intern and parent.

Topics will include:

• ·Practical strategies and tips for managing clinical duties alongside parenting responsibilities
• ·Understanding your parenting entitlements
• ·Addressing stress and the emotional challenges of juggling roles, with advice on self-care and seeking mental health support
• ·How AMA (NSW) can support you with workplace concerns
