Wayapa is an earth connection practice, based on ancient indigenous wisdom, that focuses on taking care of the earth. A starting point for creating earth, mind, body, spirit wellbeing. Wayapa Wuurrk in the language of the Maara and GunaiKurnai Peoples respectively. Cofounded by Uncle Jamie Marloo Thomas and Sarah Jones in 2014. It is the first internationally accredited modality of its kind in Australia. Carmella attained Practitioner Certification in 2020.

Creating connection to earth, to the elements, to the Creator, to our tribe, through a combination of earth mindfulness, narrative meditation, a series of physical movements and taking action to look after the planet. We will journey through these processes in beautiful gardens at the edge of the Berowra Valley national park.

We will begin with a narrative meditation, accompanied by live music - drums, crystal bowls, lyre to open our hearts, before we move into the earth-based practises. This will be followed by a healing sound journey under the twilight skies to deeply relax into the body. Tibetan singing bowls, crystal bowls, chimes and voice to gently send you into a space of deep stillness.

A delicious afternoon tea with vegan treats will nourish us as we relax in the gardens and connect with others. The finale being heart songs in circle, to create a frequency of joy, bliss and gratitude to flow into our lives!
