Our Conversations workshop will give you the tools to have more productive conversations – no matter the topic – by building connection.
In these polarised times, there’s more need than ever to reach across divides and have productive conversations about the things that matter most. The workshop is designed to build your conversational skills and confidence, helping you to connect, find common ground and spark change.
What you’ll learn
In the workshop we explore:
Like any skill, good conversation gets easier with practice. In each session you’ll have opportunities to practise having conversations, with feedback and advice. There’s also ample time between the second and third sessions for you to practise and reflect, then ask questions (and share epiphanies!) in the final session.
We keep the group size small, welcoming 6 to 15 participants per workshop, so you can get to know each other, give and receive feedback, and get your questions answered.
Who should attend
Everyone can benefit from developing their conversation skills and experience – we all have conversations!
The workshop is especially suited to community organisers, communicators and community engagers.
Prior knowledge of Common Cause Fundamentals is beneficial but not required.
Refunds up to 1 day before the event, Refunds will be provided for any reason prior to the workshop commencing.
