Outing to Royal Botanic Gardens Cranbourne

National Carers Week is an opportunity to recognise, celebrate and raise awareness about the unpaid work provided by our local carers.

Knox City Council would like to invite you on a day trip to explore the beautiful award winning Royal Botanic Gardens in Cranbourne. The gardens are the home to over 1,900 Australian native plant varieties that expands over 10 km’s.

The outing will also include a seat on “The Explorer”, an open-air electric bus that moves through the gardens with an audio guide on the landscape.

When: Friday 17 October

Departure: Car park at Knox Community Arts Centre

(Cnr Scoresby Rd & Mountain Hwy Bayswater)

Time: 10.15am for a 10.30am departure

3.00pm – 3.15pm return to KCAC

Lunch : Bring your own lunch or purchase at Boon Wurrung Cafe

Bookings : close on Friday 10 October 

Seats are limited and priority will be given to carers who live in City of Knox. 

Carers living outside of Knox will be considered if there is sufficient seats available.
