Coal Services

Coal Services is an industry-owned organisation committed to providing critical services and expertise to the NSW coal mining industry.

Our Specialised Health and Safety Scheme offers a comprehensive range of services designed to minimise workplace injuries and illnesses. These services encompass occupational health and safety, workers' compensation, mine rescue emergency response and specialised safety training. In collaboration with our industry stakeholders, we are committed to safeguarding the health, safety and wellbeing of workers within the sector by focusing on prevention, early detection, enforcement, and educational initiatives.

We are jointly owned by two shareholders, the NSW Minerals Council and the Mining & Energy Union. Our purpose, vision and values are aligned to focus on the continued safety and health of our industry and its workers.
