Construction Assurance Observer workshop

This expert led workshop is aimed at security professionals that need to provide assurance against security compromise of a building under construction. Attendees will learn to:

• Identify security threats and vulnerabilities; and analyse and evaluate security risks on a construction site.
• Contribute to construction security at a site across all security disciplines; physical, information, personnel, supply chain, technical and administrative.
• Conduct inspections of construction sites, building structures and materials for security assurance.
• Assist construction professionals to implement the construction security plan and the site security procedures.
• Employ specialised techniques to mitigate security vulnerabilities with structures and materials.
• Monitor for restricted items such as mobile phones, tablets, cameras, and other portable electronic devices.
• Integrate construction security measures into the wider project.
• Understand where technology can value add to the construction security function.

Morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea are provided.
