Event Details
UNHINGED is an original full-length contemporary dance work based on the traditional ballet “Coppélia”. With an unexpectedly dark take on the original plot, the story has been deconstructed to reveal a more modern tale of virtue, control and manipulation.
Choreographed and directed by Bonnie Neate and Suzy Piani, UNHINGED is their third contemporary full-length dance work. This production follows their critically acclaimed and award winning productions Unveiled (2021) and Unravel (2022).
UNHINGED is the culmination of a rigorous 6 month pre-professional contemporary dance training program for advanced dancers from the ACT and surrounding areas. With a stellar cast of 21 exceptional dancers, UNHINGED will excite, delight and entertain you from start to finish.
