Budgie 7's Information 2025-26

Dates:

• Women's Open & Women's 35 Comp = starting Tuesday 28th October
• Men's Open & Men's 35 = starting Wednesday 29th October.

• This competition has limited team numbers per year. The registration cut off will be when team maximum capacity has hit. Teams are allocated on a first in, best dressed basis.

• $1,300 per team (total). There are NO additional or ongoing fees.  PLUS STICKY TICKET FEE
• Regardless of your team player numbers, $1,300 is due.
• Team spots will only be secured once full team payment has been received.

• Teams are guaranteed 2 games per night.
• Game times will be 6pm, 6:30pm and 7pm.
• If additional games are required, they will be played @ 7:30pm.

Team Numbers:

• Teams can have as many players as they like.
  However, only 10 players can take part in any one game (7 on the pitch + 3 reserves).

Active Kids Voucher:

• Can be used, as per NSW government incentive for players under 18 years of age (means tested).

Footwear:

• This is a sandshoe comp.
• No screw-in, blade or moulded studs allowed.
• Grass runners accepted.

• Poor behaviour will not be tolerated. This is a social comp.

Referees:

• Official referees will be appointed for each game. However, on the odd occasion, teams may need to provide 1. If this happens, $25.00 cash will be paid to the referee on the night.

Duration:

• Competitions will start at the above dates, and will break before Christmas, returning New Year.
  The official start - end date of the Christmas break will be announced once logistics have been determined.

Player Age Eligibility:

• A male turning 15 and a female turning 14 may play in the Budgie 7's competition.
  The same rule applies in the CCF winter competition.
• All players under the age of 18, MUST have parent permission.

Team App Registration:

• Once competition numbers have been filled, players will need to register to see the weekly fixtures using https://bud.mycompapp.com/
