Details

Someone or something has stolen winter and we need to find out who! Become part of the story and learn why forests need winter to thrive through this fun educational activity.

Dates: 17 or 18 July 2024
Times: 10am - 11.30am
Ages: Suitable for ages 4 - 8 years
Price:
$15 per child

Details:

  • Adults will need to accompany their children, but do not need to purchase a ticket.
  • Meet at the Cork oak car park.
  • Please feel free to bring a picnic blanket.
  • If any children or adults are unwell, we ask that you stay at home.
  • Hand sanitiser will be available to use, but please be aware there are no toilet or hand washing facilities in the forest.

Did you know? The first cork oak seedlings planted at the Arboretum site in 1917 were propagated from acorns sent to Charles Weston at the Yarralumla Nursery by Walter Burley Griffin.
