Its 1974, and a group of young punks dodging in and out from behind the iron curtain, play their way out from their base in Sarajevo. Producing their own debut album, they created not only music, but an entire genre that would grow around them. Political pressures forced their breakup on the eve of the war, but their reunion in 2005 saw them sell 220 000 tickets to a single show.

More than just a band, Bijelo Dugme - White Buttons - were a phenomenon rarely seen. Combining the coolest rock'n'roll of the 70's with traditional folk music is not a task often attempted, and seldom mastered. Bijelo Dugme conquered it in a way nobody ever had, or ever will again. Beyond the glitter jackets, bellbottoms and outrageous moustaches, was music that has stood the test of time.

The Most Famous Band You've Never Heard Of is a tribute to Bijelo Dugme, especially the formative years, when the rock was unadultered by the political goings-on of their surroundings. Most often considered Bijelo Dugme in their prime, this period with the original lineup will be celebrated by playing a plethora of songs from their first 4 albums, such as Da sam Pekar, Pozurite Konji Moji and Tako ti mala moja kad ljubi bosanac. most of which haven't been played live since the bands heyday.
