About Us

The District Gazette is an independent community newspaper group written for local people, about local people, by local people.

Owned and produced by a local business owner, the Gazette has its finger on the pulse when it comes to tapping into local news. Whether it be community information, sporting events, business success or school happenings, we are in the homes of over 82,000 local readers every month – and we take your business with us.

The District Gazette is an essential part of four local communities, and expanding. Initially developed in the late 90’s, the Mulgoa Gazette was an immediate hit with the Mulgoa and surrounding communities because of its local focus.

Whether you are a new business or an established business, we will look after all your advertising needs, writing stories, taking photos, and helping you give the visibility your activity deserves within the local community. 

Our Commitment to Give Back

At The District Gazette, we have chosen to align ourselves with a charity that is very close to our hearts. We support the Lung Foundation Australia, by giving a percentage of all advertising revenue and hosting fundraising events to support Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis, through their IPF Program.
