From Ella to ABBA Dutch jazz vocal sensation, Judith Nijland sings her favourite jazz songs. An energetic collection of famous tracks like Take the 'A' Train and Come fly with Me in unique arrangements and with tasteful specials. But also songs from her album A Jazz Tribute to ABBA. Dutch reunion Judith will be reunited with her pianist Marnix van Bruggen. Judith and Marnix played together for over 15 years in The Netherlands, before Marnix moved to Australia 11 years ago. At this concert they will also be joined by two great Australian musicians: drummer Aaron Jansz and bass player Elliott Parker.

Judith Nijland After graduating from studying the classics, Greek and Latin, Judith studied Jazz at the Royal Conservatorium in the Hague. These days, she mainly focusses on writing her own material and creating new versions of old songs. Jazz remains her true love.
Judith has released six albums, received rave reviews and lots of airplay, and has toured extensively in her home country. She has also performed in many countries across Europe, in the U.S.A, Australia, Japan, Indonesia and in Thailand.
