EUROGLIDERS – An Iconic Australian Music Story

Formed in Perth in 1981, EUROGLIDERS quickly rose from local favourites to international chart-toppers. Led by vocalist Grace Knight and songwriter/guitarist Bernie Lynch, the band delivered a string of hits including “Heaven,” “We Will Together,” “Can’t Wait to See You,” “Absolutely,” and “City of Soul,” earning multiple Countdown and MTV awards and performing to millions worldwide.

Their incredible on-stage chemistry began as a real-life love story—Grace and Bernie meeting through their early bands before joining forces to create EUROGLIDERS. Their dynamic performances and Bernie’s songwriting helped propel them to ten Top Ten singles and albums, with “Heaven” reaching the US Billboard Top 5.

Beyond the ’80s, both artists continued thriving creatively: Grace built a celebrated career in jazz and acting, while Bernie expanded into theatre and fashion. The band reunited for new releases in 2006 and again in 2015, proving their timeless appeal.
