Bend, break, twist and transform. SMEER is back!!! This time, we’re contorting the boundaries of what we know to be real. 

A celebration of form, shape, and material, CONTORTION invites you to slip beyond the limits of the physical and into something stranger, darker, and deliciously distorted.

What can be real? What is physically possible? What happens when we push beyond the familiar and embrace the strange? This issue explores the grotesque and the graceful, the rigid and the malleable, the knotted and the unravelling. Through tactile textures, sculptural forms, grain, grit, and warped perspectives, we invite you to see the world anew.

Forget what is practical. Abandon what is expected. We’re challenging the limits of our bodies, our materials, and our imaginations.
