DAN COSTA TRIO (UK/ AUS)

DAN COSTA is an award-winning jazz & world music pianist/ composer known for his profound musical expression & melodic sensibility. His musicality & original compositions have led him to play with some of the most respected names in jazz such as Ron Carter, Randy Brecker, John Patitucci & Mike Stern amongst others. 

Dan’s work has garnered attention such as the gold & silver medals at the Global Music Awards & received high praise from Down Beat Magazine & All About Jazz. Having toured extensively internationally, Dan Costa now returns to perform in Australia touring his most recent album 'Beams' (2023).

He will be joined by Telugu-Australian drummer/ composer SOMESH PUTCHA, recipient of the ABC Jazz & Classic Composer Commission 2024. Somesh subsequently released his debut album 'Ever Playful', touring it in Australia & Taiwan. They will be joined by CAMERON UNDY, a first-call bassist/ composer who has carved a formidable career for himself playing with greats such as Mike Nock & James Morrison. as well as touring Europe with 'Nu Jazz'.
