In 2023, inspired by the release of the Get Back documentary, the Blue Apples played the Beatles’ rooftop set on a pub roof at Beatlesfest until police inevitably brought an end to proceedings. In 2026, they promise to bring that rooftop spirit to playing all your favourite 1968-1970 late-period Beatles tunes at Django. The Blue Apples play tunes from the period when Beatlemania had bitten the dust and the Summer of Love had worn off - when the Beatles were just a great rock band with great tunes (think ‘Here Comes The Sun’, ‘Hey Jude’ and ‘Let It Be’ - the music from the Blue compilation album and released on their Apple label). Featuring Bryan Estepa and members of Smooth Sailing, Delta Green, and Suzy and the Snakepit, the Blue Apples will come together at Django @ Camelot and get back to playing some of the most loved songs in music history.
