Watch Me While I Bloom
A Fantasy Portrait Series

KTB & Bombshell Burlesque are breathing life into a brand new Fantasy Portrait Series featuring giant peony flowers, inspired by growth, joy, and pleasure!

Bring your own interpretation to two moods – In Daylight, a delicate purple peony on a light background, and At Midnight, a passionate red peony on a dark background.

Caitlin of KTB is one of Queensland’s most creative portraiture photographers and, with an eye for the beautiful and the surreal, she will bring the soft and powerful femme energy of the peony to life around you!

Lila Luxx of Bombshell Burlesque will guide you through the process, including pre-production in a private Facebook group for participants to assist with developing and sourcing costumes and props, and will be on hand on the day to ensure you are positioned in poses that are as impactful as they are flattering.

The Process

1. Book in by paying your deposit via the ticketing website.

2 .You’ll be added to a Facebook group to nominate which background you’d like to shoot, as well as discuss costuming and props so that we can create the best look for each of you.

3. Two weeks before the event, your balance payment is due. You’ll also receive a schedule for shooting.

4 .On the day, you’ll be allocated a time to shoot and select your favourite image, assisted by Lila Luxx to capture your perfect moment.

5. KTB will take your selected image and add the digital elements to create a unique Watch Me While I Bloom image, with you as it’s focus!

BRING: Your props, costumes, hair and makeup. We recommend costumes that allow the legs to be visible to make the best shapes.

FINAL IMAGE: Your chosen image will be edited and composited to create your full Watch Me While I Bloom image and emailed to you in high res format within a maximum of 6 weeks.

FAQS:

Will I still look like me after Glamour Editing?

We will never alter your body shape in Photoshop without specifically being asked. If there are particular areas of your body you would feel more comfortable in removing or reshaping (chin, waist, legs, arms, neck) please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate. Glamour editing will still always include skin retouching, smoothing pigmentation and removing some sunmarks, removing or softening hair flyaways, brightening of eyes and enhancing parts of the body with lighting and studio background cleanup.

Can you cover my bra straps and bruises? Yes, glamour retouching is our standard for Fantasy Portrait sessions.

Can you change the colour of my outfit? Usually, yes, but please check with us first. Requests from dark to light are usually not as simple.

$149 deposit required, with the balance due 2 weeks before the shoot date.
