JODI MARTIN is a highly respected singer-songwriter whose music blends country, folk, & Americana with touches of blues, reggae, raw honesty & emotional depth.  Raised on a farm in South Australia, she began writing songs at just three years old, setting the foundation for a lifelong dedication to her craft.  At 16, her songwriting was recognized on a national scale when Kasey Chambers recorded her song ‘Why’ for the Dead Ringer Band’s ARIA Award-winning ‘Homefires’ album, an early milestone that marked the beginning of an extraordinary independent career.

Over the past two decades, Jodi has toured & collaborated with some of the most revered names in the industry, including Kasey Chambers, Arlo Guthrie & Shane Nicholson.  Her songwriting has been praised by multi-Grammy Award winner Steve Leslie in Nashville, celebrated in both Australian & international press, & championed by folk legend Arlo Guthrie, son of Woody Guthrie.  With seven acclaimed independent albums, she’s built a legacy of compelling storytelling & deeply resonant music. Her song ‘Screwed Up’ earned recognition in the International Songwriting Competition, further cementing her reputation as a world-class songwriter.

After stepping away from touring for a decade to focus on her family, Jodi has returned with renewed passion & purpose. Her latest releases reflect a deep connection to the land & her unwavering love for music, with ‘Never Settle’ placing on the Australian country charts & ‘Country Mile’  & ‘Good Race You Have Run’ featured on the ABC Grassroots Playlist, while ‘Tommy the Toyota’ hit #1 on the AMRAP Regional Charts.
