Many things can be simplified in the workplace. It's often more efficient than speaking candidly. A standardised process can make it easier to pitch your product, to schedule appointments with outsiders, or to make routine phone calls to potential clients. A good script is a great help. Even better, if it's written well and delivered with such clarity that the spoken dialogue doesn’t hint at its scripted nature,

It can be difficult to create that script. There are a few things you need to do to grab the attention and keep it there. It must adhere to corporate doctrines and philosophies. It will take some effort to deliver scripts.

While talent and raw skill can be very useful in accomplishing these tasks, not everyone has the ability to write or speak in a precise manner. These skills can however be learned. scripts can be reviewed, rewritten, and perfect. Speech can also be practiced, rehearsed and commented upon, and then redone as necessary. Paramount Training and Development recognizes the importance of script-writing skills and how they can be used to interact with clients. To meet this increasing demand, Paramount Training and Development has created a Script Training Program.

Script Training Outline

Construct scripts for Cold and Warm Lead Calling

Telemarketing is a difficult task, not only because it’s being conducted over a phone and therefore gauging audience response is made a magnitude more difficult, but getting a person’s attention and retaining it is a struggle in itself, particularly since this is in a phone call setting where having a telemarketer call you in to tell you about something you may or may not want at an inopportune moment is one of the more agitating nuisances of modern life. Thankfully Script Training allows learners to study and implement cold and warm lead calling into their telemarketing strategies to enhance their chances at turning a nuisance into a useful conversation for the other end of the line and a deal for the marketer.

Become more persuasive speakers

Half of the art of the deal is a speaker’s ability to convince their target audience that what they are trying to sell is important enough to not only warrant their attention but their wallets as well. It requires a fair blend of charisma, self-confidence, and mastery of language used to be really effective. Script Training offers a course to build up learner’s confidence, study charismatic personalities and from them derive which traits these individuals possess make them successful at persuading others, and do reviews on language and its proper usage. As an extra edge we’re willing to give our learners, we offer a basic course on advertising and other relevant fields so our learners can derive further strategies from these relevant fields and apply them to the training program.

Become proficient telemarketers

With a decent script in hand and lessons on persuasion done and dusted it’s time to move on to actual exercises on telephone marketing. Script trainees are taught how to apply their lessons on persuasion to a field that does not possess the body language element, and are taught ways and means to work around with and fully utilise the limited information now given to them. There are certain practices that must also be observed when using a phone to book a deal or otherwise speak with a client. It will most certainly involve learning etiquette and adopting the correct mannerisms to speak with them. These and more lessons are taught to our learners to ensure that they will perform well in a live scenario.

Settle appointments

Part of the telemarketer’s job is to book appointments with interested clientele and secure deals with them. This is probably as close to regular office work as learners will ever get outside their main duties, and it involves everything from establishing rapport, to booking dates, and settling business dealings on the dot. It also requires a bit of flexibility and patience as dates may be changed due to unforeseen circumstances which will undoubtedly require restructuring of schedules. Script trainees are taught how to get clients interested enough to book such dates, and are taught strategies that allow them to be as fluid as possible with any settled agreement should unforeseen circumstances arise and appointments have to be cancelled or restructured.

Provide extra necessary information

Interested clients are always going to want more and more information while making a deal, after all; informed decisions are the most prudent. Providing such information however, needs to be done in balance. Enough to satisfy the potential client’s curiosity and meet his demands, but not too much that they become bogged down in the details and the conversation becomes too elongated and superfluous for anyone’s taste. It’s a lesson that Trainees are taught, and through live exercises and other experimental models, it’s one that they’ll eventually perfect.

Summary of Script Training

The job of writing scripts, telemarketing, and appointment settling, are all quite complicated when bunched together in a single role. But flexibility is a virtue in the workplace, and having someone that can fulfill as many roles as possible can only be a blessing to the institutions they find themselves working in. The demand for such individuals continues to grow more and more, as for the demand for even greater flexibility from them. Paramount Training and Development sees that demand and aims to meet that demand with its new Script Training module, and it is hoped that with the program some of the greater concerns can be addressed and alleviated. We can provide a customized training session also or even write scripts for your organization.
