THE RHYTHM SECTION

For years, guitar, bass, piano & drums have been in the background, for big bands, for singers, for horn players. Well they’ve decided they’ve had enough, & have formed their own band. It may not be the first time these instruments have collided to create a quartet, but it will certainly be one to remember. This is ‘THE RHYTHM SECTION’.

The band is led by DANIEL BILLING on guitar & vocals, sideman with a number of bands, leading to a longing for putting on his own show. The night begins with a set of jazz - classics & originals - then shifts gear in the second set with a mix of blues & guitar-driven songs that Daniel’s always had an itch to play live.  Joining him on stage, we’ll hear from NATE GRIFFIN behind the drums, OSCAR LUBBOCK on keys & vocals, & ALEX DAMON on bass.
