A customer user journey is a way of visualizing how customers discover and experience your product or service, what barriers they encounter and what could influence their decisions and emotional responses.

By having a better grasp on this, you can then design a better experience for your customers after identifying what's working, what's not working, opportunities and areas for improvement.
