We have had an overwhelming response from our community to attend and we have now reached our capacity.
If you are a member of the First Nations community there is always room for you to attend, please register your interest with Adrian Greenwood. firstnations@knox.vic.gov.au
Knox City Council will be observing National Sorry day on the Friday 26 May with a ceremony to be held around the Yarning Circle at Knox Civic Centre from 10am.
The ceremony will include:
- Welcome to Country
- Smoking ceremony
- Guest speaker Commissioner Sue-Anne Hunter from the Yoorrook Justice Commission
- A message from the Mayor
- Time to reflect with a Didgeridoo soundscape
- Dance performance by MMIGP youth
- Plus catering and coffee by Mullum Creations
