Curator Allister Mills will provide his insights into the current special focus in our Treasures Gallery, Remembering the War. The Second World War represents the greatest loss of life in an armed conflict that the world has ever seen. On the 80th anniversary of the war ending, explore stories of the conflict and its aftermath from our collections.

Allister will present a talk in the gallery followed by morning tea with plenty of time to ask questions.

Remembering the War is on display in the Treasures Gallery until 03 May 2026.

This event is presented by the Friends of the National Library of Australia.
