Debaser Launch Party : The Slims W/ Silky Roads

To kick off the launch of Debaser Events at the Lord Gladstone Hotel and Goodspace Gallery two of Sydney's finest will be gracing the Stage, The Slims and Silky Roads. 

Music won't be the only thing permeating throughout the venue on Friday the 26th of August, the work of emerging photographers and artists will also be on show at Goodspace Gallery. 

The Slims 

Heavily influenced by the Australian Indie Surf Rock scene. The Slims blend of sonic flavours has resulted in a genre they like to call “Neon-Cowboy”. Borrowing thematic influence from Americana and more psychedelic guitar sounds, “Crooks” resulted in a truly unique sound.

Silky Roads was born from a shared love of the 70s psych/classic rock.

A group of mutual friends from school; Guy Richards, Nick White, Luke Sandberg and Mitch Dunn started up a garage band on the north shore of Sydney. What started as a bit of fun, quickly snowballed into a serious commitment fuelled by both friendship and the love of music.
