Carrie Lakin and Charlie Meadows are old pals who write songs together. They draw on many traditions- folk, jazz, country, pop and soul- but they are most inspired to create songs of beauty, story and vibe.

In Mayfield St. they are joined by a bunch of great muso friends who you'd recognise from some of Sydney's best bands. While the lads lay down earthy sounds of great subtlety, Carrie's sublime vocals soar above, weaving mesmerising tales of life and love.
