WEAAD Movie Session - Thelma

Join us as we launch our winter season with a free movie screening of Thelma in support of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD). Come together to raise awareness, spark conversation, and enjoy this heartwarming film as we follow Thelma Post, a spirited 93-year-old widow who, after falling victim to a phone scam, embarks on a daring quest to reclaim her stolen money. 

Prior to the movie join Paul Were (Managing Lawyer at Eastern Community Legal Centre) and Ray Baird (Knox resident, elder abuse survivor and advocate) for a brief presentation.
