INFANT - Nutrition and Play 9 month Session

There are 4 sessions of INFANT in total, this is the 3rd session held around 9 months (please note it is suitable for children aged 8.5 months through to 10.5 months) 

The 9 month Session of INFANT will cover the following things:

• How to handle fussy eating and food refusal with a particular focus on repeated exposure to vegetables 
• Active play ideas with a focus on outdoor play 
• Barriers to parents own vegetable intake and strategies to address 
• Building more physical activity into family routines 
• Communicating with other carers around healthy eating and active play

INFANT (INfant Feeding, Active play and NuTrition) is designed to help parents and families with healthy eating and active play from the start of their baby’s life. INFANT consists of four group sessions for parents/caregivers led by a nurse or other practitioner, with content reinforced via a mobile app called My Baby Now. INFANT promotes healthy eating, increased active play and reduced screen time for babies from birth until 2 years of age.
