Originally forming in the late 1960's, Galapagos Duck have become the best known jazz band in Australia and have put Australian jazz on the map.  Though they've had some personnel changes, 'The Duck' have maintained a high level of musicianship and incredibly skilled performances.  The band swings hard, their performance irresistibly upbeat and positive.  The new Galapagos Duck is nothing less than a powerhouse.

Many may know Galapagos Duck from 'The Basement' days but they have also toured extensively across Australia and overseas, including performances at  Montreaux Jazz Festival, Switzerland, Musexpo, USA, Manilla Jazz Festival, Phillipines, Singapore International Jazz Festival, England, Germany, France, Belgium, China, Vietnam, Thailand and Laos.  They have also had many appearances on Australian television shows including 'Hey Hey It's Saturday'.

We've managed to catch them as they're passing through on tour.  Come along for an exclusive dinner with Australia's premier jazz band.  Ticket price includes a two-course dinner with the show.

Reviewer Lloyd Bradford Syke recently wrote in Australian Stage:: “They've lost none of their vigour, enthusiasm, dexterity, versatility or skill. In fact, they're probably playing better than ever; which, after 43 years, is saying something!”
