For more than three decades, James Blundell has been a defining voice in Australian music — a storyteller whose songs have become part of our national soundtrack. Now, with the release of his latest album Patience Wins, Blundell returns to the stage with a powerful new live show that strips everything back to what matters most: the songs, the stories, and the truth.

The Patience Wins Tour is not just a concert — it’s a deeply personal, up-close experience. Across 34 extraordinary years, 14 studio albums, multiple Golden Guitar Awards and inductions into the CMAA Roll of Renown and CMC Hall of Fame, Blundell has lived every lyric he sings. This new show brings it all into focus.

Performing in an intimate acoustic setting, Blundell is joined by his son, Briar Blundell, creating a rare and compelling generational collaboration. Together, they deliver brand new material from Patience Wins alongside the songs that defined an era of Australian country music. It’s a night built on connection — honest, reflective, and at times, quietly electrifying.Expect laughter. Expect stories. Expect goosebumps. This is James Blundell as you’ve never seen him before — authentic, fearless, and closer than ever.

With initial dates announced and more to come, the Patience Wins Tour offers audiences a rare opportunity to experience one of Australia’s most influential artists in his most stripped-back and compelling form.
