With insights from their professional qualification, this session is perfect for those looking to make their first steps into piercing play. This session includes sundries for participants to practice on a bottom. Play piercing 101 kits will be available for purchase.

Dry Needling and Electro Play with Runestaff
Take your piercing play to the next level by going beyond the skin. A combination class aimed at introducing techniques and safety precautions around intramuscular needling using acupuncture needles, electro play utilising a violet wand/ray, and how to combine the two in a fun and effective manner. Focusing on anatomy and advanced techniques guided by their professional qualifications. This Skillshare will electrify your understanding of deep tissue play.

About the presenters:

Kitty Katastrophy:
Kitty Katastrophy is an educator, performer, and model with over 15 years in Melbourne’s kink scene. Her journey began at the iconic Klub Kunst, and her passion for BDSM has only grown since. A proud queer woman of colour, Kitty’s recent work with Melb Kink.Ed focuses on inclusivity and harm reduction, drawing from her lived experiences.

From 2012 to 2015, Kitty ran "The Newbie Den," offering skill shares in the western suburbs. Collaborating with community figures like Master Joe and Master Jack, she helped new kinksters build confidence and thrive in the BDSM world.

Kitty has graced events like Sexpo, walked the Oz Kinkfest runway, and appeared in campaigns for Eagle Leather and Passionfruit shop. Known for her dynamic presentations, Kitty brings fun and imagination to power dynamics, fostering safe and consensual exploration.

With her passion for education and empowering the community, Kitty is excited to revive the skillshare model she championed years ago.

Runestaff:
After finding a sense of belonging and community in the kink scene over 8 years ago, Rune was inspired to learn all he could about the various kinks and skills he came into contact with.A true Jack of all trades, Rune made a point to incorporate his 12+ years of experience as a remedial therapist, and 10+ years as a medieval sword fighter, into how he practices his various crafts.

Master Jack:
Master Jack K, aka SurJackBastard, has been in the public BDSM scene for over 20 years. During that time he’s researched and implemented new and exciting forms of play and toys into the scene in Australia and beyond and further developed wax play into an artistic form. Master Jack introduced micro-branding (cell popping) to the Melbourne scene and is head of the house of Ashkor. He was also the producer and organiser of the Australian Master slave Contest (AMsC) and on the committee of the former Victorian Leather group set up to educate the leather scene. Master Jack can often be found out and about doing what he does best, pushing boundaries and perceptions and playing hard in the BDSM scene.
